Main tasks to be carried out

• Environmental monitoring during the execution of works not subject to Environmental Impact Assessment (hereinafter EIA) and renovation and improvement works of the Conventional Network Lines, of Iberian and metric gauges, and High-Speed Lines in operation and other elements of the Railway Infrastructure.
• Environmental monitoring of certain maintenance work on all operating lines. Specifically, the services for chemical control and removal of vegetation on the platform and on the margins of the track, of the Conventional Network of Iberian and metric gauges, as well as on the High-Speed Network, in order to ensure compliance with Royal Decree 1311/2012, of September 14, which establishes the framework for action to achieve sustainable use of phytosanitary products.
