Main tasks to be carried out

• Coordinate the application of the general principles of prevention and safety:
  o When making technical and organisational decisions in order to plan the different tasks or work phases that are to be carried out simultaneously or successively.
  o When estimating the required duration for the execution of these different tasks or work phases.
• Coordinate the activities on site to ensure that contractors and, where applicable, subcontractors and self-employed workers apply consistently and responsibly the principles of preventive action set out in Article 15 of the Occupational Risk Prevention Law during the execution of the work and, in particular, in the tasks or activities referred to in Article 10 of the Royal Decree.
• Report on the Health and Safety Plan of the work and its modifications, for the purpose of its regulatory approval.
• Organise the coordination of business activities, as provided for in Article 24 of the Occupational Risk Prevention Law.
• Coordinate the actions and functions of controlling the correct application of work methods.
• Adopt necessary measures so that only authorised persons can access the site.
• Preparation of reports relating to the Health and Safety Plan, prepared by the contracting companies, and the corresponding processing for its regulatory approval.
• Regular visits to the works, adopting the necessary measures to ensure compliance with the Safety Plan, or, where applicable, detecting and correcting its breaches.
• Preparation of a quarterly report on the actions carried out on the works, analysing the work units whose impact on safety is most notable.
