Description of the main tasks to be carried out

• Verify that the preventive, corrective and/or compensatory measures included in the Environmental Impact Statement are adopted, through the correct execution of the Environmental Monitoring Program.
• Propose new corrective measures if it is observed that the impacts are greater than expected or the initially proposed corrective measures are insufficient.
• Inform the Works Director of the environmental aspects to be considered, prior to the execution of the scheduled works with environmental implications.
• Advise the Works Director regarding the environmental aspects of the works.
• Report to the Deputy Directorate for the Environment of ADIF-AV on the results of the execution of the Environmental Monitoring Program of the works.
• Prepare periodic technical reports on the degree of compliance with the EIS.
• Prepare semi-annual technical reports during the works guarantee period (2 years) regarding the effectiveness of the environmental integration measures executed during their execution.
• Issue any reports requested by the Contract Director regarding environmental issues that arise during the works.
• Prepare the technical reports on the degree of compliance with the EIS, corresponding to the Project Modifications and Complementary Works Projects that are developed in parallel with the execution of the works.
• Compilation of the environmental data of the works.
